Using found papers objects and many methods, painting, sewing, pin - pricks, tearing , gluing and drawing - this is constructed field of collected elements, found and assembled materials sit in quiet dialogue, referencing natural history, preservation, and the human impulse to gather, sort, and hold meaning through objects. This mixed media collage draws on the idea of a personal museum—part cabinet of curiosities, part archive. Fragments suggest specimens, artefacts, and traces of unknown origins, inviting close looking and open interpretation.
Artwork was created in London in 2019 after visiting the Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities in London. A Museum of curiosities with collections of objects and natural history, of worlds filled with beauty, wonder oddity and the imagination. The work moves between structure and intuition, where order coexists with imagination. Each element contributes to a larger sense of discovery—an interior world shaped by memory, observation, and a curiosity for what lies just beyond the known.
