Landwrap 4 D3.200
Layers ... worn, torn, ripped, creased, bent, scraped, sanded, stapled, glued, painted, stained and inked. Each scrap of vintage paper just as precious and and poignant as the other. In making this piece, I immersed myself in a process of creative abandonment, combining splashes of red with the mysterious shadows of black ink. I used acrylic paint and ink, letting each stain tell a part of a story veiled beneath the surface, reminiscent of vintage aesthetics.
