This page is where I share my videos honestly and as they happen — unpolished, raw, and closely connected to my creative process & journey. Like my abstract works, they’re shaped by memory, imagination, and a fascination with urban surfaces, forgotten spaces, and abandoned places — both real and imagined — and the stories they quietly hold.

I’m drawn to rust, concrete, faded walls, weathered textures, and fragments altered by time. Alongside industrial materials, I often incorporate buried and decayed antique textiles, bringing together traces of past and present through texture, surface, and memory.

The Meet the Tenant Project, began in the subterranean depths of an apartment block in Asnieres sur Seine in Paris France. From 2007 to 2010 it evolved into an ongoing exploration of memory, presence, and the stories that linger in forgotten places. Experiments into how our mind goes into spontaneous imagination, the mental process that allows our minds to wander freely, explore possibilities, and connect with past experiences, present situations, and potential future scenarios. A journey of the human experience—of the connections we make, the spaces we inhabit, and the unseen narratives that shape our lives. It is an invitation to embrace the unknown.

Night Tenant - Moving Painting - Jenny Davis

Night Tenant grew from nocturnal journeys through the city and suburbs of Paris France. The video captures abstract flashes of colour and rhythm—momentary images glimpsed through the metro windows, each one forming painterly moments before dissolving into the next. These flickering scenes speak not just of a city in motion, but of the unseen stories embedded in its fabric. This work is a painting in motion...part of an ongoing exploration of the human experience—of how we navigate the spaces we inhabit, the connections we make, and the silence between them.

Parisgrit is a site-responsive installation developed through walking and the close observation of Paris. Through intuitive gathering, the work draws from underground spaces, worn surfaces, street markings, signage, graffiti, and discarded advertising materials, souvenirs and history.
